This hand colored lithograph of Physalis Alkekengi aka Chinese Lantern plant comes from the German book Icones Plantarum Medicinalium (1782). I paired it with Italian hand marbled paper that I found and brought back from Florence and an antique Adirondack style frame. A perfect pairing if I ever did see one!
